Things to do
Westport sports plenty of opportunity for fishing, with a public boat ramp and multiple options for charter fishing. You can also fish along the beach or off the docks at the marina. The boardwalk, only a block away from the Westport Inn, has gift shops, plenty of options for food, and the Maritime Museum. The Westport Light Trail runs along the shore through Westhaven State Park, and is perfect for a walk or bike ride to the lighthouse.

Offshore Fishing
Offshore fishing includes Rockfish, Lingcod, Halibut, Salmon, and Albacore Tuna. The seasons and limits are available at the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife’s website.

Onshore Fishing
There’s plenty of opportunity for onshore fishing as well! Jetty fishing, surf fishing, freshwater fishing at the rivers, crabbing, and clamming are all available around the Westport area.
